What has with the top it is translated into wait to be spoken with English cadence English syntax. But I personally believe that you actually end up losing more with a sub because there is a pretty good chance the words and phrases are out of order anyway to watch your hearing being sent by the Japanese voice actors so you miss out on the chance to have the tone directly in contact with the words. When you look at how translation works no matter what if it's dubbed or subbed you are losing a lot of "background" info. What I fear is that most people don't realize this I think Ave look at it as if it's just different sounds for our words. I'm no linguist but what I mean by this is that the basic structure and grammar and the tone and cadence is totally different. Japanese and English are not compatible languages. Do you speak Japanese then? I've always wondered why people want subbed.Historically the larger reason that people wanted subs was because there was a great deal of poor voice acting talent for the English dubs that's not really the case anymore.
